Professional Home Organisers with 20+ Years of Experience
We’re Home Sorted!, a team of Professional Organisers offering a range of decluttering and organising services.
Our founder Nina, had an idea to write a book all about getting organised at home.
She named the book Home Sorted!, and what commenced as a coffee table book with lots of home sorting advice…spilled over into a successful business.
This all occurred at a time when home organisation was not a well recognised industry at all.
Fast forward to 2022, and we’re so happy that finally society has caught up!
People do need help to create order at home, we’ve learnt that the state of someones home can often be a reflection of their mental space.
Decluttering is rarely about the clutter, but more about how you’re feeling.
Life takes us on crazy adventures, and we often lose motivation to complete even the smallest tasks at home.
Thus resulting in an overly cluttered home with lots of mess, adding lots of extra stress.
Social media is filled with great images of neatly sorted homes, but the reality is that it’s more about progress than perfection when sorting your home!
We help our clients to realistically sort their home creating order with the space, and items they have on hand!
We also help them emotionally, and we also support them to maintain their neatly sorted homes.
Hi I’m Nina, a Professional Organiser, Author, Mother, Entrepreneur, Business Coach and Busy Chick, keen to help families far and wide to live clutter free at home.
I wrote my my first book, Home Sorted! in 2002, and what has followed has been a crazy ride filled with more Sorted! books (a whole series) and a few different Professional Organising business models under my Home Sorted! banner. All tried and tested with the intent to help families to feel less overwhelmed, and to take back the control at home.
Yes my business Home Sorted!, specialises in home organisation, and we naturally sort clients homes, however when lockdown hit Melbourne we couldn’t enter any homes and business was on hold!
Being Melbourne based, our lockdown was extra long. We helped many clients to cope via online workshops, and virtual consultations. Families were home schooling, setting up their own workspace, and struggling to make use of their space. It was a great feeling to be able to make a difference via virtual support with our guidance, we received great feedback, and impacted many lives…which got me thinking! “How can I expand on this service offering to help as many families as possible on a regular basis?”
I’ve been sorting, writing and creating content for years, helping individuals and business owners to take charge of their homes or their career.
Since I am a sorting subject matter expert, and have built a strong, reliable brand over the years. I’ve decided to license my successful brand, with the intention to bring together like minded people keen to enter into our rewarding industry by running their own business, but backed by our strong branding and industry support.
A business where you are in it for yourself, but not by yourself.
From the beginning our mission has been to educate people on the benefits of removing excess clutter at home.
Today, people are searching to find information, advice and inspiring images to assist them on their journey of living clutter free.
We consider it a privilege to be able to help!
As the interest in Home Organisation continues to increase, our commitment remains the same:
Help people to find it when they need it!
Our mission is to help as many families as possible to remove extra mess, and unnecessary stress in a fun and flexible manner.
In business there are lots of highs and lows!
We really have come full circle…and that’s putting it mildly.
Following from my initial Home Sorted! book, I continued to follow my passion of organisation and writing.
I expanded on my series, and penned Christmas Sorted!, Kids Sorted! and Baby Sorted!
Subject matters that are heavily focused on creating organisation at home!
Many, many years ago I launched my Home Sorted! book, and the media were interested…the subject matter was fresh and new.
I loved the adventure, sorting the Channel 9 kitchen was my favourite!
But my intention has never been to be ‘famous’, just to simply help others, and appearing in the media offered the opportunity to spread the word.
Following my book launch, I spent many years working on building my business into a service offering.
Therefore, I have spent minimal time in front of the camera, and more time in homes and coaching others.
Here I am in the early days…where has the time gone?!
